JohnBlackburn14 . In my opinion, i would say that photo is slightly dark for me. You could try to increase the shadow instead of brightness, if you are using Lightroom.

Interesting approach but the result looks a bit boring and much too dark. You could maybe try a different angle with less poppy seeds.
