Today, I want to share with you one of my many photos of a robber fly (Asilidae) that I was able to shoot at night because it sleeps and stays quiet (much easier than during the day).

I've got a lot of robber fly all over the flower meadow behind my house here in south-west of France. By night they are so deeply spleeping that you can put them on your hand whitout awakening them.
