@Bill Edwards , focus, color noise are great,
what do you think about doing a 15 or 20 degrees anticlockwise rotation, it would form a V ( between the leaf and the insect ) , it might be original.

I find that the composition is more pleasant, before the insect was horizontal, that perturbed me.
Now look at your 2 pictures side by side, you've gained in depth effect.
