This latest ice event brought sleet.
I can't be the only one that thinks of sleet as closely resembling the silica gel packets am I?

Shot with a Canon 70D and my 3D printed tube extension/adapter for a 4x microscope objective for the lens

Nice image, good sharpness and clarity, the snowflake is very nice. How did you light these?

A high power Soonfire FD38S USB Rechargeable Bike Headlight attached to a mini tripod. Played around with the angle in live view to get the best contrast and shadows. Nice thing about the light is that it has a 1/4" tripod thread for mounting on the bottom so quite handy for things like this
