Most of you don't know anything about slime molds, but they are fascinating and just beautiful.
Some of them looks like fish eggs and some like little aliens.

These one here are called Physarum album and are about 2mm tall.











Hopefully I'm able to buy the new Laowa 25mm 2,5-5x lens within the next weeks for even better results!

Wow! so spectacular, it is one thing to find them and your captures are exquisite & show a lovely small small world

I haven't... But just a joke. Most of the people which have seen my slime mold pictures haven't seen such molds before. That's somehow the truth.

You can often find them on old dead tree stumbs, branches or just leafs. But you have really to search for them or find them just by chance.
