When I had my Nikon D850 was just trying some shots of my daughter with Nikon 85mm f/1.8 prime.
f/1.8, ISO 500, 1/160sec

I was doing professional portraits for couple of years, what can I say , not enough light, also I think you are a bit to far away from your daughter, as I can the isn’t in focus how should be. But that’s my opinion only.

This is shot at my home without any flash & during night with only ambient light. So I can't give more lighting to the subject more than this. The focus is on her eyes.

Alright, for portrait shooting, definitely use a flash , this will help you a lot.
