No, no trigger at all. Just a vinyl tube to the tap ending in an eyedropper to get a constant flow of drops, flash and lots of shots until you catch something interesting
Very nice set of photos. These are quite tricky to capture specially without a drop trigger so nice job. Sharpness and colours look good, is 1/125 sec your camera's flash sync speed? Good results
