Tamron 90mm on a 2x converter and a 25mm tube. Flash at 1/8th power through a diffusor at 1/160th of a second and f5.6. This is stacked but I can't find how many shots. Used a manual focusing rail here and live-view on the camera with focus-peaking.

I would but I don't have this one. I have the older version (172E) which you may only occasionally see on eBay or in thrift stores. It is said to be marginally sharper than the later 272E Di VC version you show here. It doesn't really make sense to review as it's not easily available.
