I have been blessed to encounter numbers of rare flora in my adventures but this one is truly the most rare of them all. Whorled Loosestrife (Lysimachia quadrifolia) Québec, Canada. Conservation Status: imperiled (S2) in Québec, CA (NatureServe). From the Archive: Taken on July 5, 2013. [HASH=2207]#rareflora[/HASH] [HASH=2209]#rareflowers[/HASH] [HASH=2213]#imperiled[/HASH]

What a beauty! I have loved the flower from the first moment but unfortunately I haven't seen this one before here in Germany.

Unfortunately this one is well on is way to extinction in the province and I have yet to locate it anywhere else in the country.

Such a pitty... for sue because of the climate change and / or because of us... humans
Much like the Insects, Birds, botany is also being removed from this planet ... All Nature is being attack by climate change and it is very sad to see
