Thank you for all your suggestions, i appreciate.SUPER level of detail in the face! I think that the rest being so far out of focus detracts from the image, though. Might try cropping it down to get a full "in your face" (pun intended...) portrait. Another option, for the future, is the start with a photo on the face, then take more to be able to focus stack and get the whole body in focus, too... assuming the little bugger cooperates and stays put!
