In these days of lockdown....we can only look out and wonder. Wonder about the blue skies, the green earth. Feeling like a caged bird.

Maybe you think about buying a lensball! The glass bird is cool, but a lensball is better for such pictures.
Nevertheless well done!

By the way... the story behind with the caged bird and the glass bird from your picture is great!

I do have a lensball, to be honest didn't had time to try it yet :D

i have seen people using lensball but not much into that. found this teeny bauble lying about in the terrarium, so started experimenting. after a number of shoots i got one which was kind of satisfying.
Also this bird is 40mm from head to tail, hence satisfying my craving for macro and light enough to be handheld. In this photo, i was holding on to the tail with my left thumb and index fingers while shooting with my dslr held only in my right hand with a wrist strap. :D
