very good shot Bart! crative composition and the texture of the wood is great too! good job 
I like macro picture of wood ! Easy, it doesn't move, and can be beautifull with clarity, and texture ^^

Bart the belgian , apart from saying that looks different. There is slight blur on top right corner of the image, but that’s nothing to do with subject which is pretty much in the middle of the frame. Also , do you have colour version of this one ?

Bart the belgian. Even if must say that it's not my styl. The B&W effect with the cracks coming from the middle of the trunk looks somehow interesting.
