Zoropsis spinimana male

When I hear my wife screaming in the kitchen.......well I quickly come back with my camera to be able to shoot the "monster" which terrifies my wife. She is no longer afraid of jumping spiders, but the "big" Zoropsis spinimana like this beautiful little male of barely 2cm still scare her.
Photos made with my [HASH=2663]#Olympus[/HASH] OM-D e-m10 III, my [HASH=2664]#Laowa[/HASH] 50mm supermacro lens, my [HASH=2665]#Meike[/HASH] MK320 flash with homemade curved diffuser.
ISO 200, F/8, 1/200s. This is a focus stacking of 3 handheld shots.
Photo made at home (on my hand) in the southwest of France.

I'm a French macrophotographer. I started practicing macrophotography in 2015 with a Nikon D3200 and the kit lens 18-55 reversed. After a year of practicing I bought a Sigma 105 mm lens and I use it with a Raynox DCR 250. One year later I...

Wow, incredible! I always have to admire these extreme macro images. Something I'd like to get into some day when I can afford an MPE65...

Again and again stunning shots from you MinitecaPhotographie MinitecaPhotographie! The Laowa lens fascinates me more and more! Even if it's a manual lens!
Helix_2648, I find AF useless for macro - 97% of my macro are MF, including my flight images. I've always found that AF spends too log hunting for the image, and that my eye focuses more precisely on exactly where I want it (usually the eye). Do you use AF for yours?

Completely agree with you, autofocus and stabilization are useless for me too.
