This is my first macro shot with my (new) Olympus camera :) and Lomo 3,7X microscope lens + extension tubes.
2 Flashes + homemade diffuser.

Hairs are very problematic as they produce halos in the stacked image. There is a technique to do sub-stacks, but haven't tried yet.
Other issues come from the number of dust particles the insects have, not visible to naked eyes. I haven't tried more advanced...
I use a disposable coffee cup with a hole that fits in the lens.
LED desk light used to focus on the subject.
Clamp to accommodate the subject.
Flashes with diffusers, the power depends on the magnification & aperture.
Sometimes I use extension tubes with the Laowa, also have some microscope...
This insect is commonly known as "giant mosquito", but it is not related to those nasty guys.
