Hi,
Even I get a little uneasy when I look at this photo. Mainly because I know how fast wolf spiders can move and no spider the size of a tarantula should move that quick 😆, this particular wolf spider mum wasn't too big at about 4 cm but I did notice it had passengers onboard. I'm not sure...
this is a Long Legged Wolf Spider, Pardosa nigriceps. Isn't she amazing.. Around 5mm big girl.. She looks like she is hiding from me.. 🙈 I noticed that soon as I take my camera they are all hiding under something or behind something
Pictures are taken with Canon eos 90D Sigma 105 2.8 ex dg...
Here is a single handheld shot of a young Hogna radiata female about 15mm long.
Handheld shot made with #Olympus OM-D em10 mark III, #Laowa 50mm supermacro MFT lens, #Meike MK320 flash and homemade curved diffuser
Another spider from the Grampians. This spider was one of the first things I managed to shoot while at the Grampians, after arriving and unpacking it was evening, cicadas were singing and I was not going to let the first night at this place go to waste.
I had already been doing some night macro...
