The light is much better than the first one which I commented Jack. This one looks really natural with correct colors. Maybe you should try to blacken the background to avoid those little glitter.



By the way... the hat looks like the one from Abraham Lincoln.

I use to add vignette around the coins to make it black. Also decreasing the shadow too. Probably I did added to much contrast and saturation on this image.

Interesting details of the coin Jack
I didn't shooted much coins, as some of trying only . I can't say lot with -no experiences .
I don't know, if you reduce a bit little the highlights and and get a bit more texture, would be better or not..
Itself prefer more subtle lighting on pictures . But maybe it depends still from pictures

I did reduced A lot from highlight, I did not wanted to add to much, as this will make the coin to brighter and details might to be visible. But I might give a try again.
