Continuing my tests with Raynox, I was lucky the bee was cooperative.

iso 250, f20, 1/160, Tamron 90 + raynox DCR 250, canon eos 5D III + flash

Good sharpness and detail and of couse the composition is perfect @Christophe Berche and it looks like you have the flash reflections under control. Was the flash diffused?

the most pleasant is not the crik crok, but the old rum that accompanied it.

Ahh.. "Sour cream and onion" is the key. I was using "original" and hence my photos lacked quality

Interesting behavioural observation of the bee cleaning its proboscis.
