Beautiful picture Greg Shchepanek , great colours and the bird is so beautiful!, only more sharpnes on the eye will be fine!, you can try remove the some of shadow form the eye and get more sharpnes by brash in the Lightroom, it could be get great effect

birds have so beautiful eyes , so sometimes is good to remove shadows to see the beauti of them , trust me

I think you have a focusing problem with your lens, have you set the front back focus on your camera ?

Hello @Christophe Berche I always have a hard time capturing my birds they are always flittering about and on the move...It is most definitely a subject I need more practice at and to try more options...thank you so much for the help...I will keep at it hoping to setup a bird shoot real soon.
