A feeding Cabbage White butterfly. May 26, 23020, Brampton Ontario

Nikon D7200, Tamron 90mm SP Macro, on-camera pop-up flash, f/16, 1/200, ISO 100, Flash did fire. This butterfly only stayed for two pictures but I liked the angle that it was facing me so that the whole insect including the face and tongue can be seen.

Hey B Bob Noble , very gorgeous shot. I can see the flowers isn’t in focus a lot, but the subject it’s self is sharp in clean ;)

Jack Jack & @Christophe Berche This was a "grab" shot - the butterfly landed on the flower for about 10 seconds at most so I was really happy to get anything useful from the two pictures I took. It would have been nice if the butterfly would have let me set up a little longer😉

I know what you are saying Bart the belgian Bart the belgian , you need to be patience when shooting insects including butterflies, especially flyers :).
