Camera Body and Lens Recommendations

Glad to be a member. Looking for recommendations for camera body and lens for first macro kit. So far have my eye on A7ii for body. Any recommendations more than welcome . Thanks.

Hello, and a warm welcome on our community. The answer on your question is depending on what’s your budget, and what you will shoot mainly. For me to be honest if you just started you can go with any interchangeable lens camera body. The Sony camera isn’t bad at all, if you have money you can buy the Sony lens FE 90mm f2.8 which is over $1000, if you are on budget you can go with sigma lenses which does great pictures too.

My opinion is not to invest to much money in equipment, as this wouldn’t make you professional or would not get you best results. Try to purchase a cheap camera and decent glass for it.
