I don't have 75-300mm canon, either tamron. But in my opinion I would say to go with canon , as both lens offers same features. What re you planning to shoot ? Macro with raynox attached ?
I think that it's in the end a price issue.... the Tamron lens has very good reviews and feedbacks and it's worth the money. So I would say that the Tamron lens is the better opion.
