Bart the belgian , honestly the photo looks fine to me, what probably you could do is to reverse the photo and getting slightly closer to the subject.
I also would like to add that the composition is a bit empty. I believe that's just because the photo seems to be made indoors if I'm not wrong.

No it's à picture I took yesterday in the garden. The insect was on the leave of à
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The photo is taken in my garden. The insect Wes sitting in leaf of à leek. I'liked the simplicity of the Lines with the insect. So yes it's empty but it was à bit what I searched for. But yes maybe à bit to emptyA bit of late reply

No, no it's à leaf I took the picture when the insect was in the smallest part of the leaf. I waited for the moment to have this effect
The darkest part is the inner side of the leaf, the brighest part is the luter reagon (towards the sun). I took the picture in the afternoon
Very good photo but the composition looks a bit unspectacular. Apart from that it looks good. The fokus is ok and the sharpness as well.
