My most favourite coin in my collection is my Parks Canada 100 years commemorative dollar coin. I broke the bag to photograph this mint condition coin.

Pin sharp @Guest 1012 , did you zoomed to get that close , or used Raynox ?

It was taken at 2:1 magnification with Laowa 60mm 2X ultra macro. No zoom, no crop done. I imported the RAW in Lightroom and played with Tone and Presence, then exported. Nothing else.

Alright, not I got it, because I won’t be able to get that close with my 100mm lens, i thought you cropped the photo to get closer.

a Spanish one from 1953: 2 pesetas and 50 cents. it's not a 1:1 macro as the coin, with its diameter of 25mm, is bigger than my APS-C sensor.

Hi all . I took this photo using Olympus 60 mm, macro ring flash, I don't remember exactly how many frames, I think 8, stacked in Helicon. ISO 200, 1/60 sec. , f / 5.6, Manual mode. The coin has a diameter of 17.91 mm and has been "one dime" since 1998 .
