Hello everybody, here is a photo taken few weeks ago of one of the most colourful jumping spider we can found here in France. Let me introduce Mr Saitis barbipes. His adult size don't exceed 5mm.

Handheld shot made with Nikon D7200, Laowa 100 mm supermacro lens, Neewer cobra flash and homemade curved diffuser

For sure a lot of macrophotographers like to shoot jumping spider because of their big eyes. I think that a photo theme on them will meet a really success.

I found some of jumping spiders in park at night, I just practiced and played with hendhanding focus stacking..but only with my lens . Sometimes this one is good to..
The photo theme will be fine,if there don't need to be just extreme macros . But always can just enjoy pictures there if isn't own..

Skin looks nice as the background and hard to take pictures so.. .

Difficulty depends on how the spider is stressed. When you find a cool spider, it's really easy to shoot her at high magnification ratio when she's on your hand. No hand shaking because the lens touch your hand.

Maybe using an tripod would help this ?
