Do you use tripod when shooting flowers

Hello. Do you guys use tripod when shooting flowers and insects?

If your lens has image stabilisation then, it's not necessarily to have an tripod, but also depends what you are taking pictures of, and if you are using speed lite flash.

I would say, depends how close you wanna get to the subject, more closer means your hands will shake more. If you are taking pictures with flowers, then you can do it handheld. With insects, you still can do handheld to, just make sure you have a high shutter speed and a flash gun.
