The first shot of this Emperor-Dragon Head Caterpillar was taken on the 14-01-24, and then it was about 6 to 8mm long. The second, third and fourth picture were taken today.
This Emperor-Dragon Head Caterpillar has unbelievably grown 4 to 5 times in the period of 14 days and only the head have changed colour, what an amazing creature.

I have been following from the 14-01-24, two Emperor-Dragon Head Caterpillars, and today to my suprise, one of them developed in to a pupa. The second one is getting ready to turn in to a pupa too. I will keep on follow their progress, and if lucky enough, to see them transforming in to their final stage as a butterly.

These shots are an update of the Emperor-Dragon Head Caterpillar that i posted erlier this morning. As you can see in the first shot taken at 5pm the caterpillar did not change much from the morning shot, apart the bigger white patterns. At 9pm i thought to check on the caterpillar, and i was shocked to find a fully formed pupa (or chrysalis) in only four hours. After checking if i could find any of the remainings of the cat on the ground, something caught my attention, and there it was the Emperor-Dragon head.

Beautiful images, but make sure you share it on separate thread. :)
