Quick question MinitecaPhotographie MinitecaPhotographie , how you managed to keep the insect on your finger and same time to take photo with it, is camera was on tripod ?

really lovely photos ;) especially first one
As my camera sensor is an Apsc, the minimum distance for focusing is reduced by 1,5x so I just put the top of the lens on my left hand on which one the insect is and shoot with the right hand. Most of time at higher magnification ratio I have, the subject is only 4 or 5 cm from the lens.

The main difficulty with this insect it that he moves with shaked movement so it's sometimes very hard to get the right focus...

I do agree, sometimes you need higher shutter speed, and a flash too. I don’t do much insects , as they make me upset when I can’t take them how I want to be in the photo :D
