I'm impressed by the sharpness and clarity of your shot Desc1234! Maybe you should clean your sensor because there is a spot to the right above the eyes. Have you taken this photo in the morning? Or how have you managed to come so close to the dragonfly?

Thanks for pointing that out to me, Jörg, I didn't notice and I might enter this for a local competition. I took this at noon, and I just moved slowly towards it. Sometimes the let me get very close, but not always. It's strange that there's no consistency that way even in the same species.
