I'm hosting my pictures of a Strato cloud but I would need to generate a separate link for each picture which means a lot of extra work.

I set up my hosting-space with free Piwigo photo-album software. One of the available plugins is PiwiShack which automatically creates image links, url's or BBCode for any of the images on my site. I don't know what album software you are using but check whether similar plugins are available for it (I know Wordpress and Piwigo have them, many others as well):

it's cms for photographers. Made by photographers, but sadly abandoned. I still use it, and love it.

It looks quite interesting. Sad that it was abandoned a few years ago - I can see people on their FB page quite upset about it! Luckily Piwigo has been around for so long as is still actively being developed. I used it before, years ago, and this time around it's miles beyond where I left it.

i upload my personal images on Koken website and business images on WordPress. Which works great. Yes, luckily is still works for me on php7.2, can't go higher sadly. But it's great cms.
