It was made of 20 pictures, the purpose of the photo was to try the lighting available to me. This photo was taken using 2 led strips and 1 led lamp. I have a serious determination, but for that I have to buy another led tape and then even the result will be better. This photo was taken with a 270mm telephoto lens and a Raynox ballast lens. The light wasn't enough yet, so I was able to use ISO400 and 1 / 80s which makes it seem a bit shaky. There is a price to pay for this magnification, especially with the 70-300, because I have to shut it down quite a bit and even so, the depth of field is terribly small. Today we managed to bring this together, but it will get even better, you just need more light / lighting. :)

I can't imagine myself shooting macro with my Telephoto lens which same 70-300, but is way more heavy. The photo itself looks great, but did you had any backdrops for the photo?

Sometimes I also macros with this lens, but it’s very hard. The depth of field is perhaps a century or a thousandth of a millimeter and even with a focus rail it is not easy to move. In this photo, the background was a tree leaf, but at this magnification, the surface was already completely homogeneous. :)

Very interesting approach to work with this lens and a Raynox attachment. I'm surprised about the result even if there's some space for improvements.
Which software do you use to render your stack? Helico, Zerene, Photoshop or something else?

I would underexpose the pictures a bit to increase the shutter speed and avoid such bright areas:

Apart from that it looks like there are some layers missing because the marked area looks a bit blurry:

But the stack looks in general very good. Could be a bit sharper but apart from that I'm really impressed!

Best regards,
Jörg

Thank you for seeing me. I used a Zerene stacker. 270mm with this lens is not easy. I simply couldn’t move so little by hand, but overall the result became acceptable. Next time, I'll try to underexpose it a bit. Although, the lighting is still not real, and the problem has always been that the pictures were dark. With this picture, I was glad it didn’t become that now. I still have to work with it to really make a quality super macro with this technique. :)

Absolutely. ;) I am very sorry, however, that winter is coming slowly and the insects are disappearing. Well, I’m getting ready for spring and trying to find the right solution to this lighting thing. :)
