Hi everyone. I'm very much an amateur, bought myself a Canon 90D about 18 months ago picking up tips and techniques. I've started to become interested in the idea of macro photography and already it makes me look at the "smaller" things in a different way. My budget is limited, and I did experiment with a Raynox DCR250. I have just treated myself to a Sigma 105mm EX DG OSM Macro lens. I want to get to grips with that lens, and then maybe even combine the Raynox with it for more close up action. (although that will inevitably stretch the budget further as no doubt I would then need to invest in a laptop capable of stacking images).

Hi M MSeckham . Welcome on board. Thanks for joining us. In terms of gear, I think you picked right lens and camera. You don't need to invest much into the gear for Macro in the beginning. You need a proper laptop for editing these photos.
