Thank you. Still have to figure out some things before i go and buy one or the other. Still looking into how to add the monitor to a mac mini. Also not sure if i need a wired keyboard and mouse during setup or that it can be wireless bluetooth. And still deciding on 24 or 27 inch monitor and if i go for full HD, QHD or 4k

A Mac mini will come pre set up, so you will just have to connect the wireless keyboard & mouse once you seat it up first time.
I have a 27 inch monitor but to be honest I would be more than happy with 24 inch.
Go for the highest resolution monitor that is in your budget, a 4k 24 inch monitor is better than a 27 inch HD/QHD one.

What would be the best way to connect it? Use HDMI or USB-C?

If it is going to be the laptop then i have to buy from HP, have not found it in a shop or online in The Netherlands.

I think you get 1 or 2 years warranty when buying from them.
