That's the Oedemera nobilis, also known as the false oil beetle. I've also taken some shots of them the last days. They're really beautiful in the sun.

You're absolutely right, the difference between the male and the female is the size of the hind legs, the male has large legs ;)

Thank you Little-em Little-em. I was wondering as iso 1600 seems a bit high and the noise is affecting the clarity of your image a bit.
The focus looks to be fine.
