The quality of the cameras on something like a DJI is no joke, when they first started the only option they had was using Gopros for video recording but since then DJI has acquired Hasselblad as well as other imaging companies and the cameras they carry on board are top notch, very high quality with incredible optics on a tiny little camera with an excellent gimbal to smoothen out any movement. I have repaired DJIs and can tell you if you damage the camera or gimbal you may as well replace the whole thing, all the cost is in the camera and gimbal.
