Closed Theme Macro Photo Theme - shadows

The macro theme for this week is "Shadows". The subject should be macro (the 3" rule as given in the pinned post) and should have a shadow. Please note that a shadow is not a reflection. However the shadow can be of the subject or can be cast on the subject. Please let your creative juices flow......

more of light and less of shadow. however the shadow gives a contoured look to the leaf. overall a pleasing photograph.

the shadow being the main player in the picture is accentuating the abstract. I like the imagery. Good photograph!

without the shadows, I would be not able to capture this effect,and get quite black background - although this needed some of editing in LR,. this effect you get if your suject is in shadow,and if you same shot stright to backlight, so intresting is playing with lights and shadows.. , especially in nature . and thanks Shan
