Hi there, here are winners of International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) Macro Art 2020. Just thought I would share with you what constitutes a winner in macro photography for those who are interested. The link is to an external website that I follow for photography and art: My Modern Met
I love to photograph gardens and they are always Special Places to find beautiful Flora and Fauna. My most popular photo from 2020 was taken in a private garden in Greely, Ontario, Canada and was featured on Flickr Explore. False Dragonhead/Obedient Plant (Physostegia virginiana).

It could be interesting to do garden shooting, but you must have big and well maintained garden for that with lots of flowers and other plants. Which also will attract insects and other bugs.

Would be a wonderland for all of us to have such a garden full of lowers and insects. But then we wouldn't go out any more to find flowers somewhere else. 😂

Just a joke... but it's a beautiful flower and the light looks well balanced to me!

I am so very lucky to have access to three beautiful gardens in my city
