I have had this geode since I was a wee boy it was purchased from the Canadian Museum of Nature by my Uncle as a present. I used Google Pixel 4a for the lighting on the crystal that has two minerals to it...I like the top portion the best and I hope you like it as well.

I might reshoot this tonight...I will see what your comments are but I am thinking a reshoot...not popping for me

That's a difficult subject to shoot Greg Shchepanek Greg Shchepanek because it has just a flat surface. So you cannot highlight any geometrical structures. I would try to focus on small really small details like this part here:

I would also try to play a bit with the light. Maybe from beside to highlight the structures by creating more contrasts? Something like that...
