An other great shot Desc1234 . It's slightly confusing from which angle you took the photo , from above ?

Thank you, Jack No, this was straight on, en face, as the French would say.

It's really sharp photo, I think it's confusion because has black background.

This was single shot at f22 or so. I lit it with a reading lamp and a sheet of A4 typing paper. I used a sheet of black paper for the background. The stop difference between the lit subject and black paper gives a dark background that isolates the subject.

The flower looks really beautiful! I would increase the exposure a bit or play a bit with the highlights. Apart from that I would rotate the picture a bit because it looks tilted a bit. But that are only some smaller improvements.

good close-up! really like it; I wish there were a bit more light - just a smidgen more - on the flower but it's just a tiny detail coming from me; I guess you wanted it that way.
