Natural light or flashes ?

Hello guys. What do you prefer to use when taking pictures of flowers or insects , natural light or flashes ?

I always use natural light...wait for Mother Nature to tell me it is alright...and I don't know how to use a flash properly too highlight nature and scare it away

So if is poor light , you just increase your ISO ?

Me too... I don't have any kind of external flash.

So you are not using flash to get sharp details on subject ?

No. Neither an external macro ring flash nor other kind of flash lights.

I use such things (ambient light and / or flash light) for my mushroom pictures.

Mmm, depends a lot on photographers expectation, and what he want to get. I would say light is very important for photography.

separate results for both..depends on what you want and how you as a photographer visualize the image
