An oldie but a goodie - a photo taken several years ago; here is my take on this butterfly taken in a summer morning with some dew on the insect.
I hope you would like it.

It's like a cereal bud - not a legit cereal but it's a plant that looks like wheat or something.

Yes I have edited especially for the background; but other than that not too many changes

Because its looks a bit blur there near butterfly, so I was thinking maybe your removed unnecessary subject

Yohanna_D Beautiful! i love what you did with the wheat, not too distracting yet a feature in itself. The light shining through the wings is very nice too. Hmmm, i see you added some colour/effect near the antennas? Good job!!

No not at all; the DOF is still not very big, and my focus was on the butterfly; so even the bud on which it was sitting got blurred.
Here is the proof - well a cropped version of the whole photo

Great shot Yohanna_D ! We can see kind of purple colors arround the butterfly, what was the light ?
