I saw this dragonfly which just came out of his cocoon that you can see beneath him. In this stage the dragonfly can not fly and has to wait untill the wings are dry.

Jack, i spotted this one in a pond nearby my hometown in the Netherlands. This is a common specie called Libellulidae i think.
Jack, the best way is to focus manualy and if the insect is in focus make your picture.
Jack, when you make pictures of flowers, do you use a tripod or handheld?
Thank you, i will keep this in mind. Sofar i Am figuring out how to use the topics etc.Always handheld , as my lens has build in IS .
