Yes, you right. Then check this out:It is 8.15pm and without a flash taking macro photos at f/8 or f/11 is impossible. Just not enough light for shooting handheld without going too high in the iso or too low in shutter speed. So i do need a flash.

Have you purchased from Amazon?I recommend Godox Flashes, I have a V860 2 for my Fuji XT4. They do versions for Sony too. It has a long lasting Lithium battery that only occasionally needs charging and I have found the Flash very reliable. My package came with a small box like Diffuser too which actually works really well. It cost about £150 I think? So not too expensive.
