They are very rewarding flowers to cultivate, although they are more demanding in terms of knowing what species needs what in your conditions. I grow about 40 on my windowsills, but am far from a master. Some of mine bloom regularly, some sporadically, and some never do, sad to say (and I cannot figure out why).
