Halloween is around the corner 🎃. Let's play a fun photo game about it. You can post anything related to Halloween (such as black and orange, pumpkins, eerie mini figures, creepy crawly insects, Halloween candies, etc) but must in macro or close up. Post as many as you want!
The best one will get 100 credits.

Get ready...it's Halloween time!! 👻

Last year I did some water drop photos with some deep red and orange filters
on the flash units. I added some scary skeletons in the background to look like they were conjuring up something from the depths.
Nikon D7100, 50mm + 12mm ext. tube, 4 Flash units, ISO320, f/11, 1.0 sec., tripod, remote shutter

I couldn't resist doing something with this spooky mushroom photo. I added a Grim Reaper in the background and some bats flying about. I could not get black bats in any .png's that I liked, so I had to settle with gray and added some glowing eyes.

Nikon D7100, 85mm Meike macro lens manual focus, camera resting on bean bag, ISO400, no flash, F/1.8, 1/125 sec.

Here's one more version. This time I used a discarded shot of the moon and clouds I took one night with a regular lens, and merged it as a layer. Then I softened up around the Grim Reaper to make it look more like he was coming out of the mist. This has been a major learning curve working with layers in Photoshop. Great practice time. mushrooms grim reaper bats moon.jpg
