Slime moulds (Comatricha Nigra)

Hi 🍄-fellows,

I found this little perfect slime mould colony by chance as I was already on the way back to my car.
I have spent more than one year to find such beautiful slime moulds which are nit higher than 3mm. I used my Raynox MSN-505 for this to get the needed magnification.

This one is absolutely stunning. They are looking like tiny lightpoles. I also decided to take my Raynox to the forest today, but didn't have enough light to find something that tiny and also photograph it.

I could have commented on almost all your fungus, mold, slime shots. They are all great. But love this one. Agree with previous comment that they look like little light poles. Beautiful work.
