Because it is smaller, lighter and the quality is 95% the same. It meets my needs, does not need full format + that obj is much cheaper and the weight is much less. So that's why I always bring a camera. If not then I'll bring the Sony RX 100 mklll in my pocket.

I love this camera, it is small and has all the features needed aperture 1.8 / 2.8
Zoom 24-70
Zeiss lens
Just love it.

That's a pocket camera, you can have it with you all the times
