Second photo seems to be more quality

the second is good, the first seems not clear. You can do great proxi picture with your phone, that's great
the flowers are beautiful but both photos lack of sharpness to me; the first one has too many elements; the second one has a better composition.

The second photo works better for me but it have some artifacts. Looks like a strong compressed JPG? Do you save your pictures as JPG or RAW
Greg Shchepanek. Maybe you could increase the composition by removing the blurry flower to the top and improve the JPG quality a bit.
