May I ask you a question: why are your pictures that small? It's such a pitty to not see it in a bigger format to admire these stones.
I don't even know things about minerals, stones or anything in that matter.
Shooting them and putting them into a favourable light is a great idea!

yes. if u touch it, u should wash your hands. that's very always will any minerals specimen. I keep it safety inside mica box just dont let it outside. It will be ok.

Oh so sorry, i didnt see your comment, my bad. I have many specimens have large size but i more like somethings tiny, and hard to see by naked eyes. But i like your ideas. Dont worry, i will show you some of them as my next photos.
