No insect is dead. I pinned it and made it look like its taking off. I used helicon tube to stack it as I took the shots. Its all guess work. Took a few goes to get it this good. I will try again later to get the head sharper.

I just rested it on the flower.

Wow! Amazing shot! Unfortunately the focus is not on the eyes.
Would look better to either increase the number of the stack or change the focus.
