I couldn't for 2 reasons:Hey Yohanna_D , I always like your composition. Have you tried here to get closer to the subject?
I couldn't for 2 reasons:
1. the sun was still up and the dragonfly still quite active so it could have flown at any second
2. I was using the long focal lens so I could not get closer than 1.5m from my subject.
Yep, especially in the summer at 6:40 pm all the insects are really active; But I could not resist taking a photo of this dragonfly; the light was not harsh as you can see in the photo.Alright. That’s why. to much light sometimes is a problem.

You know I love butterflies, but other insects that are appropriate for macro photography are also my friends.
So here is a new one that joins the big family.
Thank you for your feedback.
